Are you a small church ready to make big impact? It all begins with your church's administration and systems. With over two decades of experience in consulting and strategizing with pastors and ministries, Tameeka Nelson is excited to share valuable insights and practical wisdom to help you build a strong administrative foundation, guiding you toward the next level of excellence for your ministry!

Who is this for?

This course is designed for church administrators, pastors and administrative individuals of small ministries.

What are the dates and times?

Every Tuesday in November from 6:30 to 8:00 pm (November 7, 14, 21 and 28). All classes are virtual and replays will be available for registrants who miss the class.

Course Outline:

  • Week 1: Building the Foundation for Effective Church Systems**

- Cultivating a culture of excellence and intentionality in small ministries.

- Understanding the importance of efficient church systems.

- Identifying and prioritizing key administrative tasks.

- Introduction to church management software and tools.

  • Week 2: Communication and Compliance

- Effective communication within the local church.

- Managing church records and ensuring legal compliance (e.g., marriage, baptism records).

- Creating and maintaining a church directory.

- Best practices for email, social media, and newsletters.

- Strategies for transparent and compliant church communications.

- Attendees will receive templates for email and written communications for various occasions including Letters of Reference for congregants, Resolutions and Sympathy Letters for funerals, and more.

  • Week 3: Financial Stewardship and Legal Considerations

- Insight on basic tax and legal considerations from a CPA that specializes in serving churches and ministries

- Basic budgeting and financial planning for small ministries

- Handling church finances, donations, and offerings.

- Fundraising and stewardship principles for growth.

  • Week 4: Service & Event Planning

- Planning and executing church services and events.

- Scheduling, logistics, and volunteer management for services and events.

- Creating a welcoming, organized church environment.

- Strategies for engaging both members and visitors.

- Measuring and enhancing the impact of church services and events.

- Attendees will receive templates for visitor follow-up, speaker invitations and confirmations, host ministry forms, event planning and timelines and more!

Your ministry will leave with an administrative action plan to set the course for the year ahead.

Registration:

To ensure that each ministry receives the quality and personal attention it deserves, this course is limited to only 30 ministries.

  • The registration fee is $197 and is limited to 30 ministries (not individual attendees).
  • Each church must register separately and is allowed up to 2 attendees per registration. In doing so, we trust that you will be integral and only register those who are active members of your local church and not other ministries.
  • The only attendees allowed will be those whose names are provided during the registration process. Registrations are non-transferable.
  • If additional members from your ministry wish to attend, the fee for each additional person is $79 per person.
